Ten and a half minutes, phone on the bench

The warm-up clock

Nine steps, ten and a half minutes, a beep for every change so nobody watches the phone. Made for four players who booked ninety minutes and want to use them.

    Why this order

Temperature first, then range, then the swing without a ball, then the ball without pace. The shoulder gets its own minute because the bandeja shoulder is the one that ends seasons; the mini rallies get the longest slot because the touch on the third shot is what decides the first game. Serves last, at match pace, and then you play. Phone flat on the bench, sound on; the beeps carry across a court.

Elbow or shoulder already complaining? The elbow check tells you whether it is the gear or the load.
